8 Great Ukulele YouTube Channels

I have to admit that I love searching around YouTube for ukulele channels. There are some fantastic people out there making great free videos so here are 8 of my favourites…

Ukulele Hunt/Al Wood

Not only does Al Wood have one of the best ukulele sites out there, he’s got brilliant channel showcasing his great ukulele arrangements. He also sells some fantastic ukulele ebooks.

Got A Ukulele

If you’re looking to buy a ukulele then Barry Maz’s channel is pretty much a must visit. In depth ukulele reviews and even a few tips here and there. If you don’t come away from this channel knowing what your next purchase will be I’d be amazed.

Coveywood

This one is real gem. The videos here are pretty old but don’t let that put you off. In particular you should check out his best strumming pattern series which has tips and techniques I’ve not seen anywhere else.

Petey Forrest

An incredibly accomplished player, Petey’s channel has plenty to keep you busy. Petey has a really methodical approach to the ukulele and he’s got some great tips to share with you.

Sawlon

Here you’ll find some fantastic ukulele arrangements to inspire you. You might have to dig around a little as there’s quite a bit of guitar stuff here too but it’s definitely worth your time.

Choan Gálvez

Choan Galvez’s channel is jam packed full of fantastic performances of his ukulele arrangements. I could (and sometimes do) sit and listen for hours.

Petey Mack

Is Petey Mack the happiest ukulele player out there? Yes, I think he is. Pete has everything from lessons, tips, performances, reviews and more. Try and watch his videos without smiling, it’s impossible.

Will Grove White

The word madcap springs to mind when I visit Will’s channel. Lessons, crazy covers and even a bit of the old nose flute. What’s not to like?

And finally, I know I’ve already given you 8 but I’d like to take this opportunity to take a look at my own YouTube channel…

Ukulele Go

On my own channel I try and post useful hints and tips to help beginners get to grips with playing the ukulele.

There we go, hope you’ve found something new!
