Zelda’s Lullaby Ukulele Tab

I recently found this rather beautiful rendition of the song Zelda’s Lullaby on Steven Laity’s Youtube channel. I got in touch with Steven and he very kindly provided the tab to his arrangement…

Taken from the Wii game The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword this song translates brilliantly to ukulele. Take a look at Steven’s performance of Zelda’s Lullaby here.

Zelda’s Lullaby Tab

Take a look at the tab below, it’s actually not an overly difficult song to play. A lot of the fretting hand positions are quite kind.

Steven actually plays this one using fake strums at the beginning of each bar rather than actually strumming the ukulele but it’s perfectly playable with a regular strum too. If you’re not sure what a fake strum is check out this fake strum lesson from Al Wood.

The song is played in 3/4 timing so you’ll need to count it 1&2&3& to get the right feel when you’re playing. Take it a bar at a time using Steven’s video for guidance and you should be fine. Don’t forget you can slow down a Youtube video by hitting the cog icon at the bottom right of the video and choosing speed.

Huge thanks to Steven for letting me post his brilliant arrangement. I can highly recommend checking out his Youtube channel where he has some other amazing arrangements (and plenty of guitar stuff for those that also play guitar). Oh and definitely take look at his version of Binary Sunset from Star Wars if you get chance!
