Carrying on with tabbing a few things for kids to have a blast at, here’s a simple version of the Peppa Pig theme tune.
I didn’t know this when I started tabbing it but it’s another theme tune by Julian Nott who also did the Wallace and Gromit theme. The notes are pretty simple but it’s played very very quickly. Concentrate on getting the timing right slowly at first before upping the speed.
As I’m playing I count the first bar like this…
1, 2 and 3, 4
And the second bar like this…
1 and 2 and 3, 4
Which means that you’re playing a note every time you’re counting. Count out loud whilst your playing if you need to. I find it can really help get the timing down.
