Ukulele Round Up

Ukulele Round Up – 5 June 2015

It’s Friday, that means it’s time for the most irregular ukulele round-up on the web. Here’s what I’ve spotted over the past few weeks…

The incredibly, incredibly talented Zahra Lowzley is doing a ukulele cycle tour of Great Britain for the charity Ukulele Kids Club.

aNueNue announced their U900 Baby series. Now I may not be a baby (my wife will dispute that fact) but I love the look of them.

Uke Nut is fast becoming one of my favourite ukulele sites – Matt takes a look at all the K brand ukuleles.

There’s been a lot of talk of stringing ukuleles with fishing line lately. Barry Maz did it and posted a sound comparison.

Al Wood put together a great post on alternatives to chnking for those that are struggling or just want to try a new approach.

Bohemian Guitars announced that they’re developing an oil can ukulele. I’m looking forward to seeing this one come together.

That’s all for now folks. Please do get in touch if you’ve got something ukulele that you’d like to see in a future round-up.

Happy strumming!
